JetBlue Delay and Cancellation Policies

It is rare for JetBlue Airways to cancel a flight. When a flight is cancelled due to bad weather, JetBlue will try their best to cancel the flight at least four hours before its original departure. Cancelled JetBlue flights will not be reinstated for any reason whatsoever. If your flight is cancelled, you should seek compensation and book another flight.

If you receive news that your flight has been delayed, JetBlue suggests that you arrive at the airport at the original departure time. If the delay is due to poor weather conditions and they improve, the flight may depart close to the original departure time or the plane may be substituted.

If your flight is cancelled due to poor weather, fees will not be waived unless there is a fee waiver issued by JetBlue. The fee can also be waived if the flight is cancelled by JetBlue.
